"THE RAMBLING HOUSE" is the place
where, in the old days, people would gather to tell each other stories.
Now it's a newly restored two-hundred year old cottage of great character.
Situated about 5 minutes from Dingle,
with fantastic views over Smerwick Harbour, the Three Sisters, and out
to the Sleep Giant, one of the Blasket Islands , this is an ideal holiday
location where you can get away from the hustle and bustle
of town life.
It has the typical high-ceilinged traditional
living room
with wood-burning stove and raised sleeping area and
three other bedrooms (you can sleep seven plus).

All linen, bedding and towels are provided and there's a welcome pack to greet you on arrival.
Children and well-behaved pets are very welcome.

The cottage is furnished as sympathetically
as possible.
There are also such mod cons as oil-fired central heating, T V,
video, microwave, dish-washer, washing machine, as well as
plenty of books and games.
The house is surrounded by a safe, well-tended
garden. You can watch the spectacular sunsets come down over MOUNT EAGLE
and the ocean, either from the patio or through the kitchen's big picture
window. The master bedroom looks out on the PILGRIM'S WAY up MOUNT BRANDON.
The House shares part of the
ancient Monastic site of the early Christian saint, MALKEDAR.
